Tender Touch: Polynesian Floorwork
9am to 10:30am on Saturday 27th July
Hosted David Æon Helman

Studio Kink’s resident yoga teacher and Kahuna Massage and Reiki therapist, David, will guide you through a unique fusion of ancient healing and intimate connection in our Polynesian Floor Work Workshop. This session blends the rhythmic movements and deep stretches of Polynesian bodywork with the therapeutic benefits of traditional Kahuna healing. Participants will enjoy the rewarding practice of touch, floor massage techniques, deep tissue release and partner stretches.

Explore trust, communication, and holistic well-being as you and your partner learn to detoxify the lymphatic system, restore energy flow, and enhance flexibility. Discover new dimensions of intimacy through shared movement and relaxation in a safe and nurturing space. Perfect for preparing the body and mind for a play session, providing aftercare, or dropping into a soothing "ropespace" without a deep rope session.

Note: This is a partnered workshop. Please wear comfortable clothing so you can move in.

A Leather Enthusiast's Guide: Gear & Sweat
10:30am to 12pm on Saturday 27th July
Hosted by Sydney Bootblack ‘23 Jon

The Australian climate can make precious leather items prone to mould and cracking. Bootblack Jon gives you essential tips and tricks to look after your leather gear between wears and dealing with sweat.

Polyamory
10:30am to 12pm on Saturday 27th July
Hosted by Aleni De Viate

Polyamory. Just another way of being a commitment-phobe or an entire new way of viewing our significant intimate relationships?

What is polyamory and how does it work. In a world where we are now "allowed" to get married why would you not cleave to your one true love. How many soul mates can one person have?

Aleni De Viate is an original member of the DV8House poly family and has a few wisdoms to share on the practice of polyamory and how it fits into a BDSM lifestyle.

In this presentation Aleni will discuss her theories underlying her polyamory practice. The topics will explore the challenges of communication, expectations, jealousy, time management, hierarchy (or lack thereof) and consent.

Whether you are poly curious or already part of a poly family and have questions then we highly recommend attending. While this presentation is in lecture mode we encourage you to bring all your questions.

Aleni De Viate has been involved in the BDSM scene since 1998 and started DV8House polycule with Mark De Viate in 2001. She is an international kink presenter, performer, educator and co founder of Studio Kink Sydney. Fem, Dom, slave, queer, poly, ND and downright fallible human Aleni can only explain how she does poly and acknowledge that there are endless ways of connecting and relating to those we love.

Leather History Part 2. Sydney Leather Unravelled: A Post-Mortem for Community Preservation
1pm to 2:30pm on Saturday 27th July
Hosted by Buck, Sam King & Craig Ingrey

Building upon last year's exploration of Sydney's leather history, Buck and Sam King are joined by one of the Presidents we both served under. Craig Ingrey navigated the community through the best and most successful years. The three of us sit down and ask a critical question: What can we impart to the next generation? This workshop is a deep dive into the unraveling of a once-thriving community, seeking to extract valuable lessons from its ashes.

Join us as we revisit the past, not to dwell on failures, but to dissect the mistakes, misunderstandings, and sadomasichistic pressures that contributed to its decline. Through open dialogue and honest reflection, we'll uncover hard-won wisdom in the hope it will empower the next generation to build stronger, more resilient communities. This is a space for intergenerational learning, where the scars of the past become a roadmap for a brighter future.

Rubber Care & Repair (Hosted by Alek & Brad)
1pm to 2:30pm on Saturday 27th July
Hosted by Alek & Brad

Alek and Brad are the creative minds behind Rubberly, a YouTube channel that explores the art and lifestyle of latex fashion.

With years of experience between them in latex craft, Alek and Brad will lead a hands-on workshop on caring for and repairing latex wear, sharing essential techniques to help you maintain and extend the life of your latex garments.

Note: Basic repairs will be taught on supplied scrap latex. Time to get your hands-on some latex!
